OUR STORY AND THE TEAM
The firm was created in 1997 by Jean François and Elisabeth Bach.
Jean François Rycx
Doctor in Law, holder of a Phd. degree from the Universities of Paris and Aix-en-Provence, specialised in International Private Law. Attended the National School for Oriental Studies (Paris) and obtained degrees in Literature, with a specialization in Arab Language & Civilization.
As from November 1992 Jean François Rycx was registered with the Bar Association of Marseille and immediately developed his activities with clients in Abu Dhabi.
Mrs. Elisabeth Bach
was the legal assistant and the group coordinator of the office.
She has been assisting Dr. Rycx since the foundation of the firm, and had previously worked in different French law firms in Marseilles as a paralegal officer.
Mr. Damien Gere
The office developed a team specialized in the set up and registration of companies under the supervision of Damien Gere. This includes the issue of visa and labour card and most importantly, compliance and governance.
Me Pierre Yves Lucas
In 2023, it was decided to restructure the office as a company by joining the activities and the clients of Rycx Legal Consultants with the activities and clients of Pierre Yves Lucas, a French lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar – (1985).
Pierre Yves Lucas had and experience of 5 Years In Saudi Arabia and over 9 years in the UAE, where he was mainly involved in international transactions and structuration.

More than 20 years’ experience in the UAE for incorporation of companies, visa issue and labour matters.

Ahmad Gaballa
Lawyer admitted at the Cairo bar association.
Assistance with all matters involving the local authorities (Dubai Land Department – DLD -, Dubai Economic Department – DED – etc.) and some disputes and debt collection.

has an extensive experience in the banking industry. He assists clients on bank account opening, loan facilities and negotiations of the L/C.

RYCX LEGAL CONSULTANTS story is expanding in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) by obtaining an international license from the KSA Ministry of Justice under the name of Rycx Legal Consultants in cooperation with a Saudi Law firm.

Dr Eweis Abdul Wahab
Lawyer admitted at the Cairo bar association and member of the Arab Lawyers Union and of the International Union of Lawyers. Dr. Awab has a considerable experience of the Saudi legal environment and often act as arbitrator and mediator.
Dr. Eweiss has been very active in foreign investments matters in KSA, and has advised either as part-time in house counsel or legal consultant, major Saudi companies in Hotels and Resorts, tourism, JV, real estate and project contracting projects.
