Jean François Rycx

Doctor in Law, holder of a Phd. degree from the Universities of Paris and Aix-en-Provence, specialised in International Private Law. Attended the National School for Oriental Studies (Paris) and obtained degrees in Literature, with a specialization in Arab Language & Civilization. As from November 1992 Jean François Rycx was registered with the Bar Association of Marseille and immediately developed his activities with clients in Abu Dhabi.

Mrs. Elisabeth Bach

Mrs. Elisabeth Bach was the legal assistant and the group coordinator of the office. She has been assisting Dr. Rycx since the foundation of the firm, and had previously worked in different French law firms in Marseilles as a paralegal officer.

Mr. Damien Gere

The office developed a team specialized in the set up and registration of companies under the supervision of Damien Gere. This includes the issue of visa and labour card and most importantly, compliance and governance.

Me Pierre Yves Lucas

In 2023, it was decided to restructure the office as a company by joining the activities and the clients of Rycx Legal Consultants with the activities and clients of Pierre Yves Lucas, a French lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar - (1985). Pierre Yves Lucas had and experience of 5 Years In Saudi Arabia and over 9 years in the UAE, where he was mainly involved in international transactions and structuration.

Founder & Managing Partner - Doctor of Law, Attorney at the Marseille Bar

Jean-François Rycx holds a PhD in Law from the Universities of Paris and Aix-en-Provence, specializing in Private International Law. Fluent in Arabic, he has built a strong practice in France, the Gulf region, and the Middle East, advising companies and individuals on civil, commercial, and international business law.

Pierre-Yves Lucas

Partner - Attorney at the Paris Bar, International Law & Corporate Structuring

Pierre-Yves Lucas is a partner at RYCX LEGAL CONSULTANTS LLC. With extensive experience in international law, corporate structuring, and arbitration, he strengthens the firm’s ability to manage complex cross-border matters. His arrival in 2023 marked a new milestone in the firm’s growth and reinforced its positioning in Dubai and the wider region.

Damien Gere

Consultant - Company Formation & Business Support

Damien Gere specializes in company incorporation and registration, visa and work permit procedures, and compliance and governance monitoring. He provides clients with essential operational support to establish and secure their business activities in the UAE.
